A live website for a paying client. I built the site and handle its domain, hosting, and technical management.
Context and problem
SouLadná is the personal brand of Eliška Chrástková, an independent life-insurance adviser. She needed her first website: a place that introduces her, explains life insurance in plain language, and lets people get in touch, including visitors arriving from her social media campaigns. She also wanted to edit the content herself, without asking a developer for every change.
My role
I built the website, set up and administer its domain and hosting, and look after its technical management. I still do that today.
Approach
- WordPress with a custom block theme. She can change every text, image, and button herself, while the layout and the technical settings (contact form, cookies, measurement) stay protected from accidental changes.
- A clear story on one page. The home page walks a visitor from their own situation, through what a first meeting is like, to a simple five-step process and a way to get in touch.
- Testimonials only with consent. Each testimonial is a separate entry with its own visibility switch, and the Testimonials page appears only once the first one is published.
- Measurement after consent. Analytics run only after the visitor agrees in the cookie banner, and the contact form sends no personal data to them.
Kept out of scope on purpose: CRM, online booking, and support for more than one adviser.

- testimonials ready to switch on
- cookie consent, privacy pages, and basic search-engine settings
Outcome and status
The site went live in August 2026 after the client approved its design and content. I have shipped further releases since and continue to maintain it.
Technical notes
WordPress with a custom block theme and a small custom plugin. Every release is checked automatically with Playwright: layout on three screen sizes, valid HTML, the contact form, security headers, and image performance. Releases are versioned and recorded in a changelog.
